Their Story
SHALVA — an acronym for "tranquility" in Hebrew — was founded by Yossi and Malki Samuels after their son Yossi was severely disabled by a vaccine reaction. What began as a personal mission became Israel's largest center for children and adults with disabilities.
Programs span speech therapy, music therapy, specialized education, vocational training, respite care for siblings and parents, and a world-renowned inclusive SHALVA Band. Every program is designed to unlock potential and cultivate joy.
